Oxymagnet history

Doctor of physiology, Erkki Rauhala did the significant research work in the 80s and 90s in Finland among electromagnetic field and oxygen therapies. As a physiologist he utilised electromagnetic field and oxygen therapy so that both treatment methods support each other. Now the deceased Dr. Rauhala did the international research work with his research group which consisted university researchers and medical doctors.

Dr. Rauhala's company called “Fitness Clinic” co-operated closely in connection with “Kruunuhaka Medical Center” (nowadays “Antioksidanttiklinikka”), among others with Dr. Kaarlo Jaakkola who has specialised in antioxidant treatments. Dr. Rauhala and Dr. Jaakkola joined together for the caring of patients who had become seriously ill. The combined treatments often produced good results.

Physiotherapist Arja Lindqvist-Niemelä originally served as Erkki Rauhala's assistant and has given electromagnetic field and oxygen therapies since 1995 according to the methods of Dr. Rauhala. Nowadays Arja Lindqvist-Niemelä works in Fisioterapia Fuente Verde SL, in the spanish company located on the Costa del Sol, continuing this way the life-work of Dr. Rauhala.

Arja Lindqvist-Niemelä began educational work in 2000 for the health care service professionals and wrote a book in 2003 about pulsed electromagnetic field therapy (PEMF) called “Magneettiterapia hoitomuotona”.

In 2004 the systematic introduction of the electromagnetic field and oxygen therapies began, through the Oxymagnet health care chain. Furthermore, a new book called 'Happiterapia' ('Oxygen therapy') was published in 2004. 'Syöpä ja luonnonmukaiset hoitomenetelmät'-book ('Cancer and natural treatment methods') was published 2005.

Oxymagnet S.L. company was incorporated in 2005 in Spain.
